The Progeny Group functions as the Analytical Laboratory for those
individuals or companies who utilize the E-RPISU. This allows PGL to to
maintain calibration factors on behalf of its user/clients, thus avoiding high
costs for individuals to submit their E-RPISUs for annual calibrations and
periodic performance testing. However, to be NEHA-NRPP certified in using
your ERPISU, you must maintain certification as an E-Perm user by
demonstrating your ability to properly measure radon gas with S or L chambers
using the same electret reader you use when reading the E-RPISU electrets.

Discussion on Certification and Use in Specific
Locations.
The National Environmental Health Association's
National Radon Proficiency Program (NEHA-NRPP) provides a certification that is
recognized in states that do not have their own specific radon certification
program. In most of the states that do have their own certification
programs, the NEHA-NRPP credential is recognized as meeting the technical
requirements of a device but with additional registration requirements.
As of November 2004, registration in those certified states was initiated.
The following is a list of locations where the use of the E-RPISU device, as of
November 2004, is currently acceptable. Check website regularly for an
updated listing as this process continues.
